Kelsea Médard is a principled visionary who continually strives to make the world a better place.
She studied advertising management and French at Syracuse University, and pursued law at Boston University. After earning her JD, Kelsea served as an Associate at Morgan Lewis, and also took the opportunity to learn more about access to higher education as the Assistant Director of Admissions of her law school alma mater. Kelsea later founded Grow By Three, a consulting firm that partners with mission-driven organizations in developing and administering learning-centered programs to students, employees, executive leaders, and other groups.
As President & Counsel, Kelsea's business acumen and strategic legal guidance has enabled her to deliver six consecutive years of revenue growth for the company. Her sophisticated command of contract drafting, negotiations, and intellectual property law has rendered her an asset to Grow By Three, and to The Charrington Firm, where she has leveraged her skills to support clients in protecting and preserving their creative works over the years.
With proven success in her own corporate endeavors, Kelsea has embraced opportunities to expand her leadership footprint into the nonprofit sector. She served as a member of the Boston Bar Association’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Steering Committee, and took lead roles in events sponsored by organizations like the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association, the Massachusetts SJC Standing Committee on Lawyer Well-Being, and Flaschner Judicial Institute. Kelsea is a compelling public speaker and facilitator, a reputation underscored by successful evaluations after leading skill-building workshops on behalf of Fletcher Consulting at St. John’s University School of Law, Fordham University School of Law, Yale University School of Law, and beyond.
Kelsea strives to be an asset in any community to which she belongs, and this trait supported her selection as a Fellow by The Philanthropy Connection (TPC), a nonprofit that has granted over $2.7 million to address systemic inequities impacting people throughout Massachusetts. She steadily advanced within the organization, serving as a Co-Chair of the Membership Committee; Co-Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee; Board Member; and on multiple grant teams as a Deputy Captain and Captain. She achieved a milestone distinction when the Board elected her to serve as TPC’s Co-President, helping to sustain and rejuvenate the organization as it weathered the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Alongside her professional endeavors, Kelsea is anchored by a deep devotion to family. Her values have been shaped by her experience as the eldest of four sisters and four first cousins, and now, as a wife and mother.
